MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES

To become a member, you may fall into one of the following categories:

•Regular Adult
Active or retired business or professional women ages 36–61
(Age classification only impacts National dues)

•Senior Citizen
Active or retired business or professional women ages 62+
(Age classification only impacts National dues)

•Young Adult
Women ages 18–35 preparing for or engaged in business or professional careers

•Youth Division
Ages 12–18

•Beta Psi
Female and male students attending an accredited college, university, or technical institution

•Ombudsmen
Adult male supporters ages 18+

MEMBERSHIP CRITERIA

Membership is open to women, men, and students.

​

Adult Division
Working or retired business and professional women:

• A business woman is defined as an owner, co-owner, manager, branch representative, or executive with discretionary authority in a licensed business open to the public.

• A professional woman is defined as a woman licensed by the state in a profession, engaged in work requiring a college degree, or holding an administrative/supervisory role requiring training and skill.

Associate Membership
Women supporters with National-level membership

​

International Membership
Business and professional women residing outside the United States

​

Youth Division
Students and youth ages 12–18

​

No person shall be denied membership in the Association or any subdivision because of race, creed, color, or national origin.
